The day that I have been waiting for has finally come! Pantone has recently announced the highly anticipated color of the year for 2017! Just as we were starting to settle into our winter blues and fall hues, it was revealed that the 2017 color of the year is Greenery. This color is the epitome of new opportunities and fresh beginnings. Pantone has labeled Greenery as “a refreshing and revitalizing shade,” described as an invigorating shade of yellow-green.
I always look forward to the announcement of the color of the year and how it will be used in fashion and design. Greenery is a vibrant color that can be found all around us. As a designer, I will be on the hunt for organically green inspired selections that will enhance life to my clients spaces. As we countdown to the New Year, I can’t think of a more symbolic color to set a calming tone for the upcoming year! Here’s how I will be incorporating Greenery into my 2017!
