I love being inspired and trying new and interesting design techniques and ideas in our client’s projects. An idea that I have been enthused by lately are room dividers and the various ways they are being used to create separate but distinct spaces in an original open layout. I adore their uniqueness and the way that they can add character and interest to a space.
Room dividers have been around for centuries and were originally used as folding screens within Chinese royalty’s interiors. Today, the evolving design piece has become a worldwide phenomenon of super stylish room dividers. This subtle piece is becoming larger than life and can be found not just within homes, but also in restaurants, hotels, offices and even outdoor spaces. Here are just a few examples of room dividers that will have you wanting to divide up your open space in a creative way!
