#TRUTH-I have a serious design infatuation with yachts. There is definitely something intriguing about sailing the waters in style and enjoying the crystal blue nature of the deep blue sea. Experiencing all of this in a beautiful and well-crafted, modern yacht would be icing on the cake. With summer and yachts on my mind, I have been researching the ins and outs of planning the interiors of a super yacht and this experience and research has been invigorating for my design senses!
When designing a super yacht you must consider every possible situation from space constraints to materials, themes, functionality and safety. With the advances in modern furnishing and materials, there is no reason why anyone should force the stereotypical home interior into a custom yet modern yacht. I believe a design should always be site specific and unique for the client. Yacht design is absolutely in my future, but until then, here are a few of my favorite inspirations for a stylish one.
