Today, I am excited to share another one of our recently completed and fabulous projects. In addition to showing you photos of this beauty that we created, I would like to recognize our Associate Designer Nataly Montoya and Lead Designer Andres Vanegas for their assistance in the design and bringing my vision for this project to life!
The inspiration for this project was to create a cozy interior reflective of our client’s lifestyle and personal taste which was an eclectic mix and happy medium of modern glamour meets Bohemian chic. As the architecture of the house somewhat dictated the design style of the home, it was mandatory to incorporate more transitional elements into the space. The main challenge of the house was that it was built by a production home builder and we were hired to make it appear custom even though the home was located in a master planned community.
To appeal to our clients’ taste, we created a soft color palette and selected interesting pieces of furniture to enhance the space with creativity. We also created several custom wall designs with wood on the back wall of the master bedroom, breakfast niche and office that were installed by our fabulous carpenters. Not only that, but to enhance the look of the breakfast niche, we tufted the back wall as high as we could to draw the eye up and create the illusion of taller ceilings. We remodeled the master bathroom and replaced all the decorative light fixtures in the entire house.
Our client desired a unique design that she had not seen before and I believe that goal was achieved. Take a look inside of this home that we like to call “Eclectic Modern” and tell me what you think in the comments section!
