In just two short days I joined nine other phenomenal interior design bloggers to tour the top showrooms and view this year’s most highly anticipated collections. I can truly say that every showroom had its own unique style but I was completely blown away by the Theodore Alexander showroom featuring the new collection from Steven Leung.

The new contemporary and dramatic collection that is designed by acclaimed international interior designer Steve Leung is appropriately titled ‘’Luxury of Serenity”. This new collection represents a whole home lifestyle statement that uses a mix of materials and shapes that are smooth yet masculine and offer a sense of mystery. Throughout the collection, you will see a range of materials including Italian marble, brushed stainless steel, soft velvets, and quilted leather.

The Luxury in Serenity collection offers the idea of a personal retreat with an ambience of warmth and relaxation. The new collection from TA incorporates gently curved surfaces and structures that focus on the feeling of protection and sanctuary.

One of the signature pieces in the new collections is the Pirouette dining table, which features a classic marble top that rests on leather wrapped base with diamond stitching. The diamond stitching can be seen throughout the collection One of my favorite pieces include the Covet sofa, which is upholstered in a velvet fabric that features the signature diamond stitching that contrasts against the sofas leather body shape. And of course all of the extra attention to details throughout his collection, were treats for my designer eye!
